We are now an official LPO (League pour Protection des Oiseaux)
and you can see many different birds here that you don't see
very often in th UK; black redstarts, hoopee's, golden oriole's,
red kites, hen harriers, on the rivers black kites, dippers &
sand martins. We are also on the migration path for the cranes,
usually mid february & mid october. |

| Trois Maisons has 3 acres of garden set in 15 acres of woods and meadows completely free of traffic noise and pollution. There is a duck pond in the garden that is home to several ducks, who are always pleased to share a piece of bread with you. The 9m x 4m shared solar heated pool is to the side of the cottages, and has full width easy access steps, with stunning views across the valley, around the pool are parasols and loungers ideal for relaxing in. Each cottage has a private patio area with tables, chairs and BBQ should you wish to dine alfresco. There is a boules area, bats & balls etc, and an outside table tennis table. Pushbikes are available f.o.c. if you would like to explore the surrounding countryside. |
| From time to time we have a social evening where all guests are invited to join us if they wish and bring something of their choice for a BBQ. We're happy to cook you whatever you want, providing you don't target our chickens! |

is a marvel to behold as there is no light pollution. A lot of
people say, astronomers & holiday makers alike "they have never
seen a sky like it" |
