| Villamblard village is 2 miles, it has a
weekly market, butchers, bakers, grocers, bars, hairdressers,
bank and a Post Office. The large market towns of Bergerac and
Perigueux are 18 miles to South and North respectively. Many of the local villages have weekly markets and inexpensive restaurants (some are English speaking). Throughout the Dordogne there are many picturesque and historic towns and villages, chateaux and prehistoric sites to visit. There is something for everyone. |

| Tennis courts are avaliable for hire in
Villamblard. The Dordogne, Vezere & Isle rivers are great for
canoeing, (a couple of hours or up to all day). Wine Tasting
available at various chateaux in the area. Supermarkets are in
the local towns of Vergt and Mussidan 10 miles, about 15 min
drive. The neareast supermarkets are about 10 miles, 15 min drive at Vergt or Mussidan. |
